The CalFresh Healthy Living UC (CFHL, UC) Nutrition Education Program is one of four State Implementing Agencies implementing the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-Education (SNAP-Ed) in California. CFHL, UC teaches people eligible for SNAP about good nutrition, how to make their food dollars stretch further, and how to be physically active at any age. The California SNAP-Ed mission is to inspire and empower under-served Californians to improve their health by promoting awareness, education, and community change through diverse partnerships, resulting in healthy eating and active living. This program is federally funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) and delivered by the University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources, Cooperative Extension.
Incumbent is responsible for managing the complex coordination of administrative services for the CFHL, UC program. Administrative services include activities in finance and human resources and may also include reporting. General management activities include long and short-range strategic planning. Significantly, this position will support complex hiring activity for a matrixed organization in coordination with local programmatic departments, Human Resources, Business Operations and the CFHL, UC State Office.
This is a one-year contract position with the possibility of extension. Physical location expected to be Davis, Ca. Potential for hybrid remote work.

Salary Range: $65,200 - $93,200
This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.
